Power plant in the Philippines
Siemens commissioned SIGNON to equip the Combined Cycle Power Plant of San Gabriel, located in the Philippines, with lighting and low-voltage systems as well as communications and safety technology.
San Gabriel has a capacity of 414 MW and is being built for First NatGas Power Corporation in Batangas City, on the island of Luzon, about 110 km south of the Philippine capital Manila. The power plant is considered to be the most efficient CCPP in Southeast Asia and, therefore, a lighthouse project for the local energy market. Commissioning is scheduled for 2016.
SIGNON was awarded the contract to plan, supply and commission all system components ordered. The project will help to prove once again that SIGNON is a reliable provider of optimal system technology for power plants.
